Meet Isabella (aka. Izzy), a Rushford-Peterson Senior, Graduating Class 2023. 

Izzy wanted to take advantage of the beauty that surrounded her home. Would you have guessed that we did her session on the road that we both grew up on? For years I have driven down this road full of these beautiful rolling bluffs and thought to myself… “I would love to take pictures here!” Isabella helped that dream come true. I am SO excited to share her Rushford-Peterson Senior Session right here near Peterson, Minnesota with you!! This session showcases some of the many reasons I love being a Rushford-Peterson MN Senior Photographer!

Peterson, MN Senior Session

Izzy loves to be outside hunting, fishing and camping so naturally we had to do her session outdoors. We started her session at our family friend’s driveway and gradually moved up the road to Izzy’s house for a quick outfit change and of course, pictures with her dogs, Larry and Gunner because they are some of her best friends.

We followed the sun up the hill to my grandparents home to take advantage of the sun and the beautiful rustic farm buildings. We then finished the session around Izzy’s grandparents home. We had a wonderful night together!

Fun Fact: In her spare time she loves making chunky blankets, cooking and baking.

What Izzy had to say about her Session

“I loved that I didn’t have to know exactly what to wear or where to take the pictures because Jess was there to help me choose what to wear. I felt so confident in myself and beautiful. Having my hair and makeup done made it so much easier for myself because I didn’t have to stress about making sure that it lasted the whole time. When you have a professional like Taylor do it, you don’t have to worry about your makeup melting off!”

“I didn’t even have to see the pictures to know that I looked amazing. It truly depends on the lighting, not the location. After a few hours, my smile muscles started to get sore but other than that I physically felt great. My favorite part was when we went to my house for an outfit change and Jess said ‘Hey, how about we take pictures right here on the porch.’ Then she said I’ve always wanted to try this pose and it ended up being one of my favorite pictures.”

Izzy’s Advice for her Future Self

“That choice you made many years ago, led you to where you are right now. See, you made it!”
